San Juan City, July 26, 2025 — In a calm and orderly gathering held around 3:00 PM inside a cozy function room at the Swire Elan Suites Building, members of the Swire Elan Suites community convened for their Annual General Membership Meeting, during which the election of the Board of Trustees for the term 2025–2026 took place.
The meeting was marked by active community participation, with 65.75% of the total membership in attendance—well above the required threshold to declare a quorum. Following the review and adoption of the meeting agenda, a designated counting body was appointed by the assembly to oversee the conduct of the elections.
Voting was held via secret balloting, ensuring confidentiality and integrity throughout the process. After the 258th and final ballot was canvassed, the election results were formally announced by the community’s legal counsel, Atty. Kimberly Baltazar.
The following individuals were duly elected as Trustees:
Candidate Votes
Bryant Albert Yang 232
Gerardo Lapus 242
Princeton Lee 241
Rocelynne Aquino 234
Deo Magadia 155
Shortly after the announcement, the newly elected trustees took their oath of office, administered by Atty. Baltazar.
This democratic exercise stands as a testament to the vibrant civic engagement within the Swire Elan Suites community. The election underscores the importance of participation and representation at all levels of governance, echoing the democratic values enshrined in our national identity. By taking part in such processes, the community reaffirms its commitment to transparency, accountability, and collective progress.-JVL
